Best levels for points and coins

Before writing in about any issue I reboot device, delete and reinstall game to see if that will clear up the problem. I have been doing this daily and suffering through the tutorials repeatedly for months now. Why is it when I have 60,000+ coins available from friends the game only credits my account with a small portion of the coins. This is happening almost everyday. For some time now I take screenshots before and after tapping to collect coins, creating collage of the screenshots showing I was not paid (as only allowed to submit one picture in Help ) to show that the coins are NOT going into my bank and often times I do not receive reimbursement. Example Peter sends my a spreadsheet of how many times I collected coins the day in question and that I have received all the coins. I have tried to explain and follow through explaining your side of game may show the coins but they are NOT being added to my bank. Perhaps on your side looking at my account it’s showing you how many times I have tried to collect coins but they are NOT being credited in my side of the game. There most certainly is a glitch here and it is very frustrating to be sending coins and expecting to receive them and not have them credited then go to the trouble of collecting photos into one picture, writing in and receive answer implying I am trying to scam coins from your program. If you don’t want to process the free coins then don’t offer the program. To further complicate writing in for help now after tapping “contact us” the screen goes directly to a ste called Wufoo, not help. Is this to discourage players from contacting Tripeaks? I advise anyone doing FB exchanges to keep a watchful eye on their bank totals.

Step One: Game Setup and Dealing Cards

First, shuffle your playing cards. Then, deal three cards into separate piles. This is the start of your “peaks” (or tableau). Be sure to keep the cards face down (and not look at them) when dealing to the tableau.

Step Two: Build Your Pyramids

Now it’s time to build your pyramids (also called “tri towers” or “three peaks”). Place two face down cards underneath the first card. Next, place three more playing cards under them. The cards should slightly overlap the level above. Thus, forming a triangle shape. Repeat this step for each of the three cards you placed in step one. Pro Tip: At this point, your pyramids should be close to each other but not touching.

Next, build the last level of cards to connect the triangles. The last row of each pyramid should contain four cards (12 in total). These cards connect the peaks. Further, each of the cards on the last row should be dealt face up. All leftover cards should be set aside. They are now your stock pile.

Step Three: Play a Card From The Stockpile

Now that you’re set-up, you can start playing. The first step is to flip over one card from the stockpile. The turned-over card is the beginning of your waste/discard pile.

Like Klondike Solitaire, the stock cards determine which cards you should play next. However, one significant difference is that you move cards from the pyramid (i.e., tableau) to the “waste,” not from it. The object is to remove every card from the peaks into the waste pile.

Step Four: Move Cards to the Waste Pile

Carefully look over your three peaks. Search for cards that are one rank or number above the last card in the stockpile. For example, if the face up card on the stock is a 7 of Hearts, the only cards you can move to the waste are 6’s or 8’s (any suit). Further, it’s important to note that Aces can be played as high cards, low cards, or player’s choice, a.k.a. wild cards.

Step Five: Flip Cards When They’re Available

When the cards beneath a card on the pyramids are removed, you can flip that card over. For example, if you remove every card from the last row of the first peak, you can flip the cards on the third level of the first peak. However, keep in mind that if a card is still bordered by a card underneath it, it can’t be turned over.

Step Six: Use Cards in the Stock Pile When Necessary

Suppose you can’t make any moves based on the cards in the peaks or the face up card in the stock. In that case, you can flip over another stock card to open up new possibilities. You can draw from the stockpile as much as necessary, but once the card is placed in the waste, it can’t be used again.

In most games, once you cycle through the stockpile one time (i.e., turn all of the cards over), the game ends. However, in other variants of Tripeaks, you can go through the stock multiple times.

Winning a TriPeaks Game

Triple Peaks gameplay can end in two ways: You can move all of your cards from the tableau to the waste pile, or you run out of moves. You’re out of allowable actions when you’ve exhausted the stock but still have cards left in your pyramid.

Tri Peaks (also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers or Triple Peaks) is a patience or solitaire card game that is akin to the solitaire games Golf and Black Hole. The game uses one deck and the object is to clear three peaks made up of cards. It was created by Robert Hogue in 1989, and popularized as a result of being included in Microsoft Solitaire Collection.[1]

The game starts with eighteen cards dealt face-down on the tableau to form three face-down “pyramids” of six cards each, and a row of ten cards beneath. This is built by dealing out ten cards face-up in a row; then nine cards face-down above them, offset by half a card to the right; then six cards above those, offset by the same amount (and leaving a one-card gap after the second and fourth cards); then three cards to cap the three pyramids.

The twenty-four remaining cards make up the stock. The first card from the stock is put in the waste pile (sometimes known as the foundation/discard). For a card in the tableau to be moved to the waste pile, it must be a rank higher or lower regardless of suit. This card becomes the new top card and the process is repeated several times (e.g. 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, etc.) until the sequence stops. Along the way, any face-down cards that are no longer overlapping are turned up.

In case the sequence is stopped, i.e. no card on the tableau can be put over the top card of the waste pile, a card is placed on the waste pile from the stock to see if it can start a new sequence. If there is no scoring being tracked, the game is won if all three peaks are cleared before or after the last card from the stock is discarded to the waste pile. However, the game is lost if there are still cards that cannot be placed on the waste pile after the stock has run out. When a scoring system is used, the game takes on different strategies depending on the rules. For example, in the original TriPeaks game, winning was less about clearing the peaks, and more about the tactics of making the best choices to create better winnings and limit losses by possibly quitting early.

TriPeaks can also be played with a wild card. This variation makes it easier to clear all three peaks. It is also possible to make all cards in the peaks face-up, this makes the game more thoughtful and strategic. It is also possible that the waste pile is empty so that one of the exposed cards can be chosen to go to the waste pile for a “head-start”.

Hogue has performed computer statistical analysis on the original game, which shows over 90% of all the games dealt are completely solvable and, under the original scoring system, an average of 60 is theoretically possible, which indicates the scoring system is balanced in such a way that the cost of the stock is paid for from the creation of the appropriate streaks during game play. This leaves all the bonus points for the player if the player has played the hand perfectly. Of course, since only a portion of the cards are known at the time of deal, the possibility of playing a perfect hand becomes very difficult. The average score per hand for most people is around 12. Players with better strategies and tactics have averaged over 17.

The original game shipped in Windows Entertainment Pack 3, and was eventually included as a standard part of in Microsoft Solitaire Collection. TriPeaks was created to allow for other layouts. The three peak layout was the original, but it was the intention of the inventor for others to adopt new layouts and create scoring rules to balance those new card layouts. In that regard, TriPeaks has been modified extensively and shipped in many different card packs.
